Born in 1995 in NYC, I am an artist based in Queens, New York. As a writer and painter, my work is inspired by the transience of life. My relationship to this idea is portrayed through my attachment to the impermanent items, spaces, and moments that I wish to preserve. In capturing these fleeting moments, I’m able to cherish and eternalize them in all of their authenticity. The items and spaces I choose to highlight are often overlooked, nostalgic, or seemingly trivial to others. Through painting with meticulous detail, I am able to communicate my fondness and affection for my subjects. In opting for wood as a matrix and leaving vacant backgrounds, I communicate feelings of grief and appreciation for the change and transformation of all things.
